It’s a big week of changes! Two planets stationing, Venus moving into Aquarius to conjunct Pluto, retrograde Mercury conjunct the Sun, opposing Jupiter and squaring Saturn, and more! Knowing that can help us approach this week, with the waxing Moon gaining in light, by embracing the new and continuing to move forward. Resisting change is the source of pain and suffering while changing too rapidly/unconsciously can cause trauma. The good news is, as astrology shows us with the Sun/Mercury in Sag and Venus moving into Aquarius, it’s time to lift ourselves up and get a helicopter view of our situation. Staying stuck down here in our 3D egoic realm is like staying in the forest, unable to see what lies ahead or where we have been. The squares to Saturn and Mars stationing retrograde are saying it’s time to slow down, rise up, and see our lives from a new vantage point prior to going forward. From a meditative observer state, we can see our lives as a play with all the world a stage! Our souls are calling others in, breaking away, expanding, and contracting as needed for the purpose of raising our consciousness of self, the other, and most of all, Spirit. I read two Sabian symbols today, one having to do with the permanence of the soul realm and the other having to do with the social. As the ego is the root of fear, we can share our talents and skills more fully, wholly, and completely when we let go of outcome-based thinking and take full advantage of all life offers us. Go for it!

Take advantage of Mars in Leo before he goes back into the womb of Cancer. Yup, Mars stations retrograde today and will be going back to 17 degrees of Cancer before charging forward again on February 24. During that time, he’ll be opposing Venus, Pluto, the Sun, Mercury, and more, but for now, just Venus and Pluto. It is a great time for digging down into the depths of your soul to feel what you’re really looking for in a relationship. This is an especially good time for that because Venus is not only conjunct Pluto but also leaving Capricorn for Aquarius. In Aquarius for the next month or so, our feminine nature wants to raise the bar for our relationships, bring awareness, lightness, change (maybe a little kink), and experimentation. We’re looking for high consciousness in our partnerships now and will want to avoid settling for the same old run of the mill routines. With the Sun/Mercury conjunction opposing Jupiter, it’s a time of high energy, expansion, and some optimism. Hence, this week’s mantra encourages us to get out of the doldrums, brighten up our attitudes, and open ourselves to the beauty within and without us.
