As for this quote… The call to participate in the divine is an ancient one that requires each person to rediscover it in their hearts and souls and know that the goal of such spiritual intimacy creates the realm of God dwelling among us…

Relational theology is an inescapable truth- whether your concern is for ecology and preserving the planet, or to reduce violence in our cities, all along the spectrum of human concerns, we are faced with the gracious fact that we need each other; and that no amount of isolated spiritual advancement, or personal piety truly works or serves the needs of humankind. 

We are interdependent beings, who are necessarily connected to one another by a grand soulful design because only through the union of caring and cooperative hearts will we overcome the serious daunting challenges our world faces.

God’s invitation to each soul is to become a part of the Anima Mundi – The World Soul  or the whole soul of creation. Relational theology affirms that each person fulfills a necessary part, provides for an essential piece in the cosmic puzzle, or can, through compassion, justice, empathy and love, fulfill the Scriptures to be keepers and protectors: to save the planet and one another from those self-serving drives, forces, and desires held by people who harm the planet and one another daily… 

As we aspire to a more full participation with the divine, our ethics change, our views of one another soften, and our concern for the common good heightens and deepens, and the common welfare of the planet and its people increases…
